It is hard to believe that we are already mid-way through 2005. This year has gone so fast, a week does not go by without a wonderful CEA event. I have enjoyed meeting escrow practitioners throughout the State.

I have recently returned from the American Escrow Association Annual Conference and like CEA this year, they too are celebrating a milestone anniversary-25 years. It was a wonderful conference in Omaha, Nebraska and our own Fran Butler was elected 1st Vice President and Phyllis Yanagihara was elected as Secretary. Congratulations to our California ladies and good luck as you climb the positions to the AEA Presidency.

Have you sent your 2005 Conference Registration in yet? Have you made your hotel reservations yet? Get those forms completed and sent it. We are expecting a huge turnout this year and some of our exceptional sessions may have space restrictions. Get your registration in soon. The Saturday lunch is scripted for the members to participate and enjoy, this will be very exciting. Check out the golf tournament, the course this year is a golfer’s dream. Have you considered attending the “Governors Ball” on Saturday evening? This is going to be a very elegant and memorable event, befitting the California Escrow Association and 50 years of golden opportunities. An enormous thank you to our many sponsors. Our 50th Anniversary Conference is going to be spectacular; our sponsors and exhibitors are a dynamic part.
