Professional Designations - Open for members holding a CSEO certification only. Update PD tests, assist with in person testing in your area, update forms and applications, review PD workbook, assess PD continuing education unit criteria.
Meeting day & time: 2nd Wednesday of each month - 8:00am-9:00am
Chairperson: Janeane Arildsen- Website Update - Special Committee formed in 2025 - help with what our "landing page" looks like to create greater user interest, review and update what material is on our website and help with sponsorship "banners" criteria, placement and eye-popping graphics.
Meeting day & time: 1st Thursday of each month, Time: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Chairperson: Ryan King - National Affairs including AEA - Keep your finger on the pulse of what's going on in our industry nationwide. Eventually it all seems to trickle down to us, or starts with us, for the rest of the county. All active members are also members of the American Escrow Association and we ask that you help them with some of their committees as well. You won't be sorry and you will learn A LOT.
Meeting day & time: 1st Tuesday of each month - 5:30pm-6:30pm
Chairperson: Mickey Vandenberg - Governance Committee - what makes our organization function the way it does? What is outdated and needs to be changed, fixed or made more flexible for todays? Do we need to change some old rules? Reviewing our government documents is very important especially with all the changes we're making in our structure last year and this year.
Meeting day & time: 3rd Thursday of each month - 8:15am-9:15am
Chairpersons: Judy Arrington and Elizabeth McGovern - Leadership Committee - Intended for all regional presidents to learn what is going on in our organization and what needs their attention. This is where we get our Board of Director meeting assignments and Conference assignment, too.

Chairperson: Elizabeth McGovern - Legislation-Bill Review - One of our main committees to review what the legislators what to put onto our desks or industry to do. Work with Mike Belote and Cliff Costa and learn more about how the legislature works and what we can do about making, or preventing law changes in our industry.
Meeting day & time: 1st Wednesday of each month - 8:15am-9:15am
Chairperson: Judy Arrington (This is a phone meeting. If interested in sitting in, contact the Chairperson).
- Annual Conference - Held in October, many jobs must be done - getting speaker ideas and contacting them, obtaining sponsorships and exhibitors for the Expo. Deciding what kinds of classes to offer and what kind of decorations and some hotel set up. Work with the PD committee to set up monitors at each session.
Meeting day & time: 1st Wednesday of each month - 4:30pm-5:30pm
Chairperson: Terrica Banks
- Education Committee - Our other main committee. We need help to set up Lunch and Learns, education content at conference and we would also like to set up state wide educational opportunities. Help to update the Escrow 1, 2, and 3 manuals.

Chairperson: Teresa Schiaretti - CEA News Magazine - Our PRIDE AND JOY PUBLICATION!!! We are always needing content. Bring your ideas and horror stories. We're not sure what this will look like in the future if we don't get more help to develop the content of the magazine. This is where we also sell advertising to help pay our costs and get education out to our member. We are also looking at creating a "teaser" CEA News to show the public what we have to offer, but make them become members to read the entire articles.

- Budget & Finance Committee - always need help putting the numbers together and getting your ideas for where our money is best spent and where it must be spent.

- Membership - Public Relations - EVERY MEMBER IS A MEMBER of this committee. If we don't grow, we will wither away. We desperately need ideas and help to contact all the escrow practitioners in the state to educate them, and the public, on the existence and importance of the California Escrow Association. The more members we have the greater our voice will be in the legislature as well. We need creative people to help create content and visually pleasing social media posts.
